Reconciliation
The Sacrament of Reconciliation known more traditionally as the Sacrament of Penance or Confession, encourages us to approach our priests as instruments of God’s forgiveness. We need to recall not a long laundry list of our sins, but to ask for the grace to improve and evolve as God’s beloved sons and daughters, free to spread his love.
Through this sacrament we receive the grace and resolve to improve ourselves, to grow in holiness (wholeness) and to reach out in love and care for others. In addition to individual confession we have the opportunity to celebrate this Sacrament in a communal setting with our brothers and sisters in Christ, demonstrating that the forgiveness we seek and celebrate not only benefits us, but builds up the Church, the entire body of Christ.
Saturday: 3:00 pm
Or by appointment:
Our Communal Reconciliation service is usually held during the season of Lent.

INFANT BAPTISM
Baptism is one of three Sacraments of Initiation
Through it we become children of God and brothers and sisters to one another. Together, having “put on Christ” and been enlightened by the Spirit, we are empowered to spread God’s kingdom of justice, love and peace. Baptism makes us sharers in the common priesthood of the faithful, offering to God our lives. Infant Baptism Preparation can begin either before or after the birth of your child.
Baptism are being celebrated every Saturday at 10:00 am, 12:00 pm, and 2:00 pm.
Please make an appointment with the Parish Office to schedule a Baptism interview and to register for the required preparation class.
The preparation class is being held every second and fourth Thursday of the month at 6:30PM.
Confirmation
To nourish the already existing relationship the young people have with our Lord. To catechize them so they would recognize Jesus’ love for them and know His presence in their lives. To establish a relationship with their parish, St. John the Baptist as we encourage them to build up our parish community through their active discipleship in the different ministries. To continue their knowledge of the catholic faith and Its true teachings, in hope that they exercise a strong and vibrant conviction as young Catholics in our times
CONFIRMATION: It is a two-year program. First Year Confirmandi meet every first and third Friday while Second Year Confirmandi meet every second and fourth Friday. Both will have a mandatory Confirmation Retreat. Regular Class time is 6:30 pm to 8:45 pm. We accept children who are at least in seventh grade and up to Junior High (eleventh grade). Registration starts in late July or early August.
Marriage
Marriage is the opportunity to celebrate your love for each other as a “sacrament” or sign of God’s blessing on your love and a request for the support of your Church community in your marriage.
We encourage couples to look beyond traditional practices and concentrate on their marriage ceremony itself as a prayer for God’s assistance in their marriage and a blessing and congratulations from our parish family.
Marriage: Before planning your wedding, please make an appointment with one of our priest.
Marriage preparation usually takes at least six months period to complete.

Anointing of the Sick
Pastoral Care of the Sick: Extra-Ordinary Ministers of the Holy Eucharist make pastoral visit to parishioners who are sick either confined in the hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, care homes, or at the convenient of their own home. Also, it is for parishioners who are homebound, i.e. their health or medical conditions could be compromised when they leave home. Pastoral visit comprise of the respectful distribution of the Holy Eucharist to the sick; and as well, as giving them emotional, social, and spiritual support through profound and thoughtful prayers.

Holy Orders
Holy Orders is the sacrament through which the mission entrusted by Christ to His apostles continues to be exercised in the Church until the end of time. In the Sacrament of Holy Orders, or Ordination, the priest who is ordained vows to lead other Catholics by bringing them the sacraments (especially the Eucharist), by proclaiming the Gospel and by providing other means to holiness.
All of us have something to contribute. It is faith-filled homes that foster vocations. Jesus tells us to pray that “the harvest master send laborers into the harvest.” When we encourage our children to discern if they have a vocation to the priesthood or religious life, we show our support for their desire to serve. Let us Be Not Afraid to extend His call.
